HEIDELBERG is going digital and as part of this initiative it further develops it´s Digital Marketing & Sales Centers. It has established HDU (HEIDELBERG Digital Unit) to lead that process and establish an global omnichannel-(direct)-sales approach with and for HEIDELBERG´s international sales-organisations.

We are looking for a strong, international experienced leader of an B2B-e-commerce-organisation to optimize and scale our global e-commerce-organisation as part of our omnichannel-sales-approach.


  • Responsible for the online strategy of national & international online shops

  • Further development of national & international e-commerce activities

  • Increase in sales and earnings by expanding the functionality of the online shop

  • Planning, optimization and controlling of the online value chain in the area of online marketing, content, usability and conversion optimization

  • Close cooperation with experts in SEO / SEA, Affiliate Marketing and Market Places

  • Development of mobile and tablet applications

  • Adaptation of online activities and country-specific relationships in cooperation with local sales managers

  • Expansion of the social media presence and development of new forms of distribution in social media marketing

  • Creating business plans for all online channels and controlling their industry-standard KPIs

  • Further development of the web analysis for the derivation and implementation of improvement potentials

  • Optimization of interactive search and post navigation

  • Initiation and management of projects for process and system optimization

  • Leadership and development of the e-commerce team


  • 8y + professional experience

  • 3y + comparable Leadership position in B2B e-commerce

  • >50 Mio.€ eCom revenue P&L responsibility

  • International work environment experience, worked or studied abroad

  • Multichannel Sales Experience – e-commerce vs. sales representants

  • Fluent in english

  • Successfully completed a degree in economics or a comparable qualification in e-commerce

  • High level of commitment, motivation and team orientation

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills

  • Results-oriented, pragmatic way of working with a pronounced "hands-on" mentality

  • Communicative and effective personality
